5 Tips to Ease Tooth Pain Until Your Dental Visit

So, your best option is to fill a bag with ice or to pull some frozen peas out of the fridge and hold it to your face for regular intervals.

There are many over-the-counter painkillers that you can use that work wonders when it comes to alleviating the swelling and taking the pain down a few notches. While for a headache you may use only one dose for your discomfort – with tooth pain, you may need to take multiple doses throughout the day.   3. Use a bag of warm, but not hot, black tea to reduce the pain and swelling. Black tea has some amazing anti-inflammatory properties, so you may want to think about using a bag of generic black tea to alleviate your discomfort.
